About Stephen

Central Alberta Brain Health Directed Counsellor, Stephen Roberts has been working with children, adolescents, and adults for twelve plus years. Stephen found himself drawn to helping people during adolescence, listening and supporting them on their journey in life.
During his own work, Stephen discovered the link between brain and body and how pinpointing the origin results in better client outcomes.
Stephen holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. He is a Registered Qualified Supervisor and Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association and a Counselling Therapist with the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta. He is also a Clinical Traumatologist with the Traumatology Institute, and a Certified Brainspotting Counsellor with Brainspotting International.
Stephen enjoys spending time with his three boys participating in healthy activities, talking, parenting, reading - specifically about the brain, body, and neuroscience), watching soccer (Manchester United), watching hockey (Toronto Maple Leafs) and being a lifelong learner.
