Stephen Roberts, Brain Health Directed Counsellor, Consultant and Supervisor

Central Alberta Brain Health Directed Counsellor, Stephen Roberts has been working with children, adolescents, and adults for the past five years.  Stephen found himself drawn to helping people during adolescence, listening and supporting them on their journey in life.

During his own work, Stephen discovered the link between brain and body and how pinpointing the origin results in better client outcomes.

Stephen holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.  He is a Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling and Registered Professional Counsellor with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association and a new member of the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta (soon to be the College of Counselling Therapy of Alberta).  He is also a Clinical Traumatologist with the Traumatology Institute, and a Certified Brainspotting Therapist and Consultant with Brainspotting International.

Stephen enjoys spending time with his three boys participating in healthy activities, talking, parenting, reading (specifically about the brain and body), watching soccer (Man U), watching hockey (Leafs) and being a lifelong learner.
