AISH Assessment

AISH Assessment.jpg

Gain a clear understanding of how your condition impacts daily functioning.

Our AISH assessments evaluate cognitive, emotional, adaptive, and functional abilities to provide objective clinical information for Alberta's Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH) application process. Findings document functional strengths, limitations, and support needs to assist with eligibility determination.

Assessment Includes:

  • Clinical and developmental interviews

  • Cognitive and adaptive functioning assessments, as appropriate

  • Functional impact evaluation

  • Results review and personalized recommendations

  • Summary letter or comprehensive written report, based on assessment needs

Secure Online Sessions

GPS Inc. offers online and in-person sessions to serve you better.  Online sessions are offered via Zoom and are in Mountain Standard Time (MST). Online sessions can be as effective, if not more effective than in-person sessions, due to factors such as no travel time, staying in the comfort of your own home, and increased attunement from the therapist.
